Praying for you

A waterfall flowing to you
Stiller stars in the night sky
We will pray for you.
For this thy golden glow

My family has always been proud of its Celtic heritage and my mother made me aware of my Irish background early on. I grew up on Canadian border and has strong Canadian ties. I found out later I had Scot in me on my Dad's side.
It took me over 50 years to find my true love, but I recently found him. His people are from County Cork (mine from County Mayo) and he's courting me in Irish Gaelic. It's incredibly meaningful to me...

Here we are members of Celtic Friend Network, the majority of us have joined because of our interest in anything and all things Celtic.
We seem to be attracting people who see the “Friends Network” part without, seeing, knowing or even caring about the Celtic part.
I know there is a flashing “ We are not a dating service” on the opening page.
Then there is the advert to “Meet The Hottest Singles” Yes, I suppose a space for advertising is needed. But.
When a person comes across “Friends Network”…

¡Oyi! Poeta
Cuando fales d'Asturies has d'alcordate

nin ye poles escombreres
que en so caleyar arrastra.
Tra-y luto polos mineros,
polos homes d'esa brava
raza (triba,castra)
qu'afuruca montes
y que muerre na batalla
entre carbón y costeros
de la tierra qu'afuruca.
Por eso'l Nalón tra-y luto
desque dexó LLaviana.

LES XANES

Figura: Son seres femeninos d´estructura corpórea humana.

Some folks in my family have done lots of geneology work on both my mothers and my fathers sides and a couple of the lines go back to Nobility and Royalty of the Isles and Western Europe. In these parts of family tree you can see why Britian was so heavly contested as to who should rule.
Marriage to other royal and noble families was not uncommon and was hoped to gain greater prestiage. Some were to solidify alliances and others tactics to rule the nation after the line of kings had died off or we…

A call for sanity
This is a call to arms and a call for sanity. Britain is overcrowded. It is one of the most densely-populated islands in the world, and the population is increasing too rapidly. People are having to live in tower blocks and basements with nary a pot to piss in of their own, let alone swing a cat in.
There are too many foreigners here. People who don’t belong. People whose natural habitat is not the islands of Britain, Ireland and the minor offshore isles. These people are unh…

While scanning through Google, for any references to my name, I came across a site that I have not participated in, and upon opening it (RE; a Michael Jackson comment) immediately got a "FAUX SECURITY" attachment, WHICH can destroy your computer-if you allow it !!!
I imagine that YAHOO carries this also in it's search engine capacity, For you own protection AVOID THESE ATTACHMENTS, and DO NOT OPEN anything with reference to my name on either of these.

I just want to let everyone know about a few ways you can learn more about Celtic culture.
The
Celtic Encyclopedia is a great place to learn more about Celtic history and culture in general. It is one of several websites managed by the United Celtic Nations. There is a ton of information to add about the Celts and anyone can become involved by joining in discussions on CFN or UCN.
The…
